Areas of Focus

Sage Speech & Language provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment in the following areas:

  • Brief screenings to determine whether a comprehensive evaluation is warranted.

  • Developmentally informed evaluation and treatment for infants and toddlers demonstrating early signs of speech, language, or social communication delays, with an emphasis on caregiver coaching and functional communication.

  • Assessment and treatment of speech sound errors affecting clarity and intelligibility across settings.

  • Development of language comprehension skills to support learning, participation, and independence.

  • Support for vocabulary growth, sentence formulation, and confident, functional communication.

  • Intervention targeting conversational skills, perspective-taking, flexible communication, and meaningful peer participation.

  • Evidence-based, child-centered treatment addressing stuttering through cognitive, behavioral, and communication-focused strategies. Therapy supports participation, reduces avoidance, and builds confidence in speaking across settings.

  • Assessment and treatment of pediatric voice disorders affecting vocal quality and resonance.

  • Clinical evaluation and treatment of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders

How To Get Started

We begin with a brief phone consultation to discuss your child’s needs. A comprehensive evaluation is then completed to assess strengths and areas of need. If therapy is recommended, an individualized treatment plan is developed with clear goals and measurable progress.
